Terms of service.

These terms apply when you buy a ticket through Get Tickets, and when you sell through it as a venue.

Last updated 1 September 2026.

Who you are dealing with

Get Tickets is operated by Hospitech Solutions Ltd (CRO 817101), 14 Cronan’s Well Grove, Swords, Co. Dublin, Ireland.

The venue is the seller. When you buy a ticket, your contract is with the venue, not with us. We provide the platform, take the payment on the venue’s behalf as their agent, and issue the ticket. The money is paid into the venue’s own account and they are the merchant of record.

This means the venue is responsible for honouring what you bought — running the event, or accepting the voucher. We are responsible for the platform working.

What you pay

The price of the ticket is set by the venue and goes to the venue. We add a booking fee on top, shown clearly before you pay, which is what we charge for running the service.

That fee is not refundable other than where an event is cancelled. See the refund policy, which forms part of these terms.

Tickets

A ticket admits one person to the event named on it, subject to the venue’s own conditions of entry — including age limits and the right to refuse admission. Check those before you buy; we cannot waive them.

Each ticket carries a unique code that can be scanned once. Do not share a screenshot of it: whoever presents the code first is let in, and the ticket is then spent.

Tickets are non-transferable and must not be resold for profit.

If the venue closes or cannot honour it

The venue is the seller and holds the obligation. If a venue ceases trading, we will help you reach them and will support any claim you make, but Hospitech Solutions Ltd is not the guarantor of a venue’s eventsand cannot honour them in the venue’s place.

Where you paid by card you may have rights against your card provider. Ask them about a chargeback.

For venues selling through us

You are the seller and the merchant of record. You are responsible for honouring everything sold, for the accuracy of what you publish, for holding any licence or insurance your events require, and for your own tax.

You authorise us to take payments as your agent and to deduct our fee. Refunds, chargebacks and disputes are settled from your account — we do not underwrite them.

We may suspend an account that misleads customers, sells events it cannot run, or generates a pattern of disputes. We would talk to you first unless customers were being harmed.

What we do not promise

We work hard to keep the service running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted. We are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the fees we received on the transaction in question.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Your statutory rights

These terms do not affect your rights under Irish consumer law. Where anything here conflicts with a right you have by law, the law wins.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland and disputes fall to the Irish courts. If something has gone wrong, email hello@hospitech.ie first — most things are quicker to fix than to argue about.
